I really liked the sound of the original strings, nice and bright, but they didn't last long being nicked by the sharp nut. Take a file to smooth the nut before tuning otherwise strings will snap (strings delivered slack). Ukulele has high quality materials, I just wish the 'finish' was nicer. I'd pay 10% more to have additional attention spent to finishing details. There are scratches around the neck / body area, under the clear finish varnish. Excess glue is present around internal label area. Small 1cm top delamination. Even so, I love this ukulele! After the first few hours of play, the Spruce top really started to open up and sound gorgeous. It's a bit of a soft wood, and scratches, unlike my bamboo uke. LingTing 21" 23" /26" Ukulele (LOLITA) 4 Strings Stringed Musical Instrument for Ukulele Beginner and Ukulele lover 2024 - Delivery took a month. The sound is good, but the finish is incomplete. It's a good value for money, so it's worth buying.
LingTing 21" 23" /26" Ukulele (LOLITA) 4 Strings Stringed Musical Instrument for Ukulele Beginner and Ukulele lover 2024 - Stop! Don't tighten those strings! The bone nut at top of neck is SHARP! I really liked the sound of the original strings, nice and bright, but they didn't last long being nicked by the sharp nut. Take a file to smooth the nut before tuning otherwise strings will snap (strings delivered slack). Ukulele has high quality materials, I just wish the 'finish' was nicer. I'd pay 10% more to have additional attention spent to finishing details. There are scratches around the neck / body area, under the clear finish varnish. Excess glue is present around internal label area. Small 1cm top delamination. Even so, I love this ukulele! After the first few hours of play, the Spruce top really started to open up and sound gorgeous. It's a bit of a soft wood, and scratches, unlike my bamboo uke. The seller included two extra sets of strings. I installed the fluorocarbon strings after filing the sharp nut edges. These strings have a deeper tone and aren't as bright as installed strings.
